Fat loss with little or no exercise

Decreasing the amount of fat in the body is necessary if you want to be in good physical shape and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Reducing body fat can be accomplished without doing any exercise. If you are looking for ways to reduce fat without doing exercise, then read the following list of suggestions.

    Understand that if you want to eliminate body fat without exercising, you need to modify your diet. In doing so, recognize also that whatever changes you make in your diet need to be full-time changes. Modifying your diet temporarily will not be effective if you are looking for long term results.

Note, however, that there are good fats known as omega-3s and monounsaturated fats that you can consume, such as olive oil, salmon, avocado and nuts.

    Focus on proteins and vegetables, and cut out your bad carbohydrates. Note that typically bad carbohydrates are white, such as pasta, rice, potatoes, bread and cereal.

    Eat 5 to 6 times a day to help avoid gaining fat. Do this by adding a snack or small meal in between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner. Reduce the size of your breakfast, lunch and dinner also.

    Avoid drinking your calories. Drinks such as milk, juice and sodas have too many calories, and drinking calories means you cannot eat as many. For this reason, you need to drink fluids that do not have any calories, or at least very low calories. Water is always your best option, but you can also drink coffee, tea, iced coffee and iced tea-�all with very little or no cream and sugar–and other very low calories drinks.

  • Try to eat the same foods when preparing your meals. For example, stick to chicken breast, beef, and fish for proteins and spinach, peas and broccoli for vegetables, but mix them up so that your overall meals are different.
  • Always allocate 1 day in the week in which you eat anything you want. This break from the rules is needed to shock your body or wake it up from what has become the mundane eating routine. When you wake up your body in this manner, your metabolism kicks in, rather than becoming immune to the eating pattern that you have designed for your body.
